We’ve adapted our working practices making the most of the media platforms available to us and we continue to help you use this time to gain a head start on your project. We can also provide a complimentary, initial consultation via a phone call, followed by a 45 minute video online meeting.

During the phone call, we will talk through your ideas and help to develop these into a coherent brief for the project. It is also helpful to collate together, photographs, videos and drawings, when preparing for the online meeting. Social media is playing an important part in our daily activities, and developing the concept designs for your project, is no exception.

In normal circumstances, we would visit your property, view the location, take measurements and discuss your requirements and ideas, sketching out some possibilities. Now we can do much of this using technology.

We can share photos and videos of your property and other developments that you like and we can guide you in taking more specific measurements. We’ll discuss your preferences, including taste in materials, access and any facilities you want to include. Mood boards, and inspiration pallets can be created through Pinterest.

This consultation often brings up ideas and possibilities you hadn’t thought of before. We can sketch out different design options and share them with you on screen. The outcome will be a comprehensive brief for our initial plans. The Planning departments are still currently working, so we can lodge planning applications now, saving valuable time further down the line. Planning departments have also embraced technology and ‘virtual’ development control meetings are becoming the norm.
